Clearwater Farmers’ Market
Clearwater / Chua Chua
Chua Chua - Meaning "Little Rivers" in the Simpcw dialect of Secwepemctsin.
Started 15 years in the small community of Clearwater, the Clearwater Farmers’ Market sees between 15 and 25 vendors selling a wide variety of produce, seasonal plants, baked goods, arts, crafts, and woodworking, and much more. The market is wheelchair accessible and is held on the field of the Dutch Lake Community Centre, close to a children’s playground, outdoor stage, and large grassy area for the whole family to enjoy. Dutch Lake Beach and Clearwater River Trail are also within easy walking distance. Live music and organized activities like a harvest fair each fall are part of this market’s repertoire.
We acknowledge we live and work on the Ancestral, Traditional, and Unceded territories of the Secwepemc Nations, particularly the Simpcw. We pay respect to the First Peoples of these territories and extend that acknowledgment and respect to all Indigenous Peoples.
This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
