Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Market – Saturday
Kamloops / Tk’emlúps
Tk’emlúps - Meaning "where the rivers meet" in Secwepemctsín.
From four vendors in a church basement in 1978 to 100+ vendors today.
The Kamloops Regional Farmers’ Market supports local food production and promotes regional food security and sovereignty by encouraging the community to engage with its agricultural base. The market provides healthy, fresh food that’s produced in an environmentally and socially conscious way.
This market is one of the oldest in the province and is also a founding member of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets. The vendor base of around 100 is largely local and features delicious apricots, apples, strawberries, raspberries, peaches, and plums, farm-fresh vegetables, craft breweries and wineries, live entertainment, food trucks, artisan crafts, and a playground green space for family fun.
The Kamloops Farmers’ Market acknowledges that it operates on the Traditional, Ancestral and Unceded Territory of the Tk’emlúps te Secwe̓pemc Nation and Secwepemcul’ecw Peoples.
This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
