Barriere Farmers’ Market – Winter
Barriere / Chua Chua
Chua Chua - Meaning "Little Rivers" in the Simpcw dialect of Secwepemctsin.

The indoor winter edition of this friendly rural farmers market.
When the seasons start to change, the Barriere Farmers Market moves indoors and switches up its regular schedule, most often being held at the Barriere Seniors Centre across from the grocery store in downtown Barriere.
Even though the indoor location means there’s a smaller selection of about ten vendors, many of the most popular summer vendors can still be found in winter, too. The artisanal baker’s doughnuts, cronuts, danishes, croissants, and breads are available. Locally grown meat from the butcher and the sausage vendor make regular appearances as well.
The Barriere Farmers’ Market acknowledges that it operates on the Traditional and Unceded Territories of the Secwepemcul’ecw Peoples.
