Welcome to the Vernon Tour on the

Vernon Tour

The best time to visit Vernon is in the summer – when the weather is hot, the farmers’ market is bursting with fresh fruit and veggies, and the lakes are warm (ish). Start with an afternoon walking around Vernon’s charming downtown, grab a bite to eat at a local cafe, and shop the locally made art and souvenirs. Then, take a guided tour of the Kalamalka Indigenous Garden to learn about the area’s rich history, nature, culture and food. Don’t forget to take a dip in the amazingly blue-green waters of Kalamalka Lake!
