Secwépemc’ulucw - The unceded and ancestral home of the Secwépemc People

The summer’s family-friendly community cornerstone in downtown Sicamous.
This weekly outdoor farmers’ market in Sicamous draws locals, seasonal residents, weekend visitors, and tourists passing through the houseboat capital of Canada, connecting them with “make it, bake it, or grow it” vendors from across the region.
Often featuring buskers, plenty of sidewalk chalk for the kids, and ice cream for young and old, the market is the main Friday evening event in this small community. Visitors can browse, sample, and purchase barley tea, bannock, organic baked goods, a varying harvest of fresh produce or preserves, and locally made wines, spirits, and mead, among other available items.
