Pender Island Farmers’ Market

Pender Island / sťéyəs

sťéyəs - The original WSÁNEĆ (Saanich) name for the island in SENĆOŦEN.

An integral piece of Pender’s community identity.

Since 1978, Pender Island’s local economy has relied heavily on the support of year-round residents. Though the population swells with visitors arriving for the summer, it’s the local community whose unwavering support of the Island’s food producers that help make the Pender Island Farmers’ Market what it is today.

Focused on providing something for everyone, this market offers hot food options, farm fresh produce, eggs, Gulf Island lamb, baked goods, flowers, and a generous serving of honest-to-goodness community spirit.  There is an outstanding selection of unique artisan items.

We respectfully acknowledge that the land we gather on is the Unceded Traditional Territory of the Tsawout and Tseycum First Nations, and the W̱SÁNEĆ (wuh-say-nech) people.

This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
