Port Hardy Farmers’ and Artisans’ Market
Port Hardy / Tsulquate
Tsulquate - Pronounced, sull-kwah-tee, in the Bak̓wa̱mk̓ala language. In 1964 the Kwakwaka'wakw Nations were amalgamated with each other, and forcibly relocated to the Tsulquate Reserve, far away from their home lands.

Meet and greet the North Island’s finest makers, bakers, and growers.
In 2018, a group of like-minded community members came together to create a market to promote and support local, sustainable, producers and makers in Port Hardy.
With a diverse array of vendors including local farmers, bakers, and makers – this market is built upon a strong community spirit and shared values. Situated alongside Carrot Park waterfront during the summer, this family and dog-friendly market moves indoors for select events during the fall and winter.
We respectfully acknowledge the unceded traditional territory of the Kwakwaka’wakw peoples, the traditional keepers of their land. We want to say thank you for allowing us to live, work, and play on your lands.
This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
