Local love sustains this Mission market.
Every Saturday morning in-season, the Mission City Farmers’ Market connects its tight-knit community with direct access to locally-produced, high-quality food, arts, and crafts.
Located on the South side of Centennial Park, this growing market has become a weekly gathering place for local families to meet face to face with food producers all through the spring, summer, and early autumn. Early birds tend to head straight for the farm fresh vegetables, while others drift from stall to stall enjoying a variety of hot food offerings, unique local producers, seasonal entertainment and kids programming.
We acknowledge that the Mission City Market takes place on S’olh Temexw – the traditional and unceded territory of the Stó: lō Peoples. We also acknowledge that many forms of agriculture as we know it are food systems that were not traditionally adopted by the First Peoples here. It’s important that while we support local farming and farmers, we also promote the protection of these traditional food systems.
This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
