Burns Lake Farmers’ Market

Burns Lake / Tsʼil Kaz Koh

Tsʼil Kaz Koh - This is the Dakelh name for the creek which runs next to Burns Lake.

Founded in 2015, the Burns Lake Community Market has been hosted annually every summer by the Burns Lake Chamber of Commerce.

In 2021, the Burns Lake Community Market became a registered farmers’ market. Committed to connecting local vendors with local people, the Burns Lake Farmer’s Market provides residents with access to vendors and farmers selling various products, including fresh and nutritious foods, home-style baking, and handmade goods.

We respectfully acknowledge our market takes place on the unceded traditional territory of the Wet’suwet’en people, particularly the Ts’il Kaz Koh Nation, the traditional keepers of this land. We want to say thank you for allowing us to live, work, and play on your lands.

This market participates in the BC Farmers' Market Nutrition Coupon Program.
