For more than ten years the close-knit community of Bowen Island has depended on the weekly Bowen Island Farmers’ Market for direct access to a charming selection of fresh, locally-grown produce, baked goods, flowers and plants, arts and crafts.
This weekly market invites island visitors to mix and mingle with the local community in the green spaces surrounding the Bowen Island Community School. Surrounded by playgrounds, soccer fields, and tennis courts, this community gathering typically hosts a dozen fresh food vendors, hot food service, and live music to set the scene for a quiet summer morning on island time.
