A rural market building community for decades.
Thanks to a dedicated volunteer base, the Metchosin Farmers’ Market has been connecting food producers with their local community since the 1970s. Tucked just behind the Metchosin Fire Hall just off Happy Valley Road, the rural countryside continues to be an ideal location for this thriving Sunday morning market.
A weekly gathering place for local families, children are free to explore the book store and museum, as musicians perform at the Ron Jenkins Bandstand. A half dozen fruit and vegetable farmers, fresh meat producers, artisan bakers, and local spirit and cider distillers are just some of the people you can expect to meet at this quaint rural market.
